BOSTON — Convatec, a medical products and technology company specializing in chronic condition management, announced Thursday that it has received two supplier excellence awards from Vizient in recognition of its performance, customer service and contributions to healthcare providers.
The company was named 2026 Non-Acute Supplier of the Year and received the 2026 Medical and Surgical Excellence Award during the Vizient Connections Summit in Las Vegas.
The awards recognize healthcare suppliers for their commitment to innovation, operational performance, customer service and value delivered to hospitals and other healthcare organizations.
Convatec received the honors for its work in advanced wound care, ostomy care and bowel management, three areas in which the company provides medical products and technologies for patients managing chronic health conditions.
The recognition reflects the company’s relationships with healthcare providers across both acute and non-acute care settings, including hospitals, outpatient facilities and other medical organizations.

According to Vizient, its clients collectively represent more than $156 billion in annual purchasing volume.
The organization’s supplier recognition program evaluates companies based on criteria including customer service, innovation, operational excellence and their ability to help healthcare providers improve performance and manage costs.
Convatec was selected for the two awards from among competing healthcare suppliers.
