Fremont, Calif. — Sysmex Europe SE and Cytek Biosciences, Inc. have announced a strategic collaboration across more than a dozen European countries aimed at expanding access to advanced clinical flow cytometry technologies and improving laboratory workflows.
The companies said the partnership will combine Sysmex’s diagnostic and laboratory automation capabilities with Cytek’s spectral flow cytometry technology to provide clinical laboratories with a broader portfolio of solutions spanning sample preparation, routine testing and advanced multi-color analysis.
The collaboration is intended to help laboratories meet growing demand for faster and more standardized testing while handling increasingly complex diagnostic requirements.
Sysmex’s clinical flow cytometry portfolio, including the XF-1600 flow cytometer for routine testing and the PS-10 automated sample preparation system, will be complemented by Cytek’s Northern Lights-CLC spectral flow cytometer.
The combined offering is designed to support advanced multi-color applications used in leukemia and lymphoma testing, as well as measurable residual disease assessment, providing an integrated workflow for specialized clinical flow cytometry laboratories.
