BOSTON — WHOOP has raised $575 million in Series G funding at a $10.1 billion valuation as the company looks to accelerate international expansion and further develop its personalized health platform.
The funding round was led by Collaborative Fund and included participation from a broad group of institutional investors, healthcare organizations, and high-profile athletes. Investors included Qatar Investment Authority, Mubadala Investment Company, Abbott, Mayo Clinic, and Macquarie Capital, along with individual backers such as Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, and Rory McIlroy.
The company said the new capital will support growth across the United States and international markets, including Europe, the Gulf region, Latin America, and Asia.
“Our raise brings together the world’s most sophisticated investors, leading health institutions, and iconic global athletes behind the mission to unlock human performance and healthspan,” said Will Ahmed, founder and chief executive officer of WHOOP. “We are building the personal health platform that people use to improve their health and livelihood.”
WHOOP said it is seeing strong global growth, reporting more than 2.5 million members worldwide. The company said bookings grew 103 percent year-over-year in 2025, reaching a $1.1 billion run rate, and that it achieved positive operating cash flow during the year.
The company plans to hire more than 600 employees globally to support research and development and its expanding footprint.
WHOOP positions its platform as a tool for preventive health, using continuous biometric data and artificial intelligence to provide users with personalized insights into sleep, recovery, and performance. The company said its system is powered by more than 24 billion hours of physiological data and is designed to help users identify health risks and adjust behaviors in real time.
Abbott joined the round as a strategic investor, bringing experience in diagnostics, medical devices, and other healthcare technologies. WHOOP said the partnership reflects a shared focus on building more connected and personalized health solutions.
“WHOOP has become one of the most important tools I use to support my long-term health,” said Cristiano Ronaldo, a WHOOP investor and global ambassador. “I am proud to participate in this round because I believe in the future we are building together. No other company has created a health platform this powerful that people are proud to wear.”
