Waltham, Mass. — Q32 Bio Inc. announced that additional results from Part B of its SIGNAL-AA Phase 2a clinical trial evaluating bempikibart in patients with severe or very severe alopecia areata will be presented at the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Congress.

The presentations will include additional 36-week results as well as initial findings from a 16-week off-drug period. The EADV Congress is scheduled for Sept. 30 through Oct. 3 in Vienna, Austria.

Bempikibart is a fully human anti-IL-7Rα antibody designed to regulate adaptive immune function by blocking IL-7 and TSLP signaling.

“Our late-breaking oral and poster presentations highlighting additional 36-week results as well as initial findings from the 16-week off-drug period from Part B of SIGNAL-AA underscores our commitment to bringing a differentiated, targeted therapeutic to patients with alopecia areata in need of new treatment options and the growing enthusiasm for bempikibart’s unique mechanism in the field,” said Jodie Morrison, Chief Executive Officer of Q32 Bio.

“This recognition reinforces our conviction in our bempikibart development program in alopecia areata, as well as its potential in other autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, and we look forward to sharing our results with the scientific community.”
