Boston — Elucid, a medical technology company developing AI-powered software for cardiovascular disease diagnosis, announced the appointment of Mark Miller as Chief Revenue Officer.
Miller will join Elucid’s leadership team and report to CEO Kelly Huang, Ph.D. His appointment comes as the company prepares to launch a broader cardiovascular platform that includes its FDA-cleared Plaque-IQ software and its BioIntegrated FFR-CT software, which is pending FDA clearance.
Miller brings more than 25 years of experience in cardiovascular imaging, cardiac diagnostics and AI-enabled clinical decision support.
He previously spent a decade at GE Healthcare and Philips, where he worked with cardiology practices and electrophysiology laboratories. He also served as Vice President of Sales at Cassling, a regional distribution and solutions partner for Siemens Healthineers.
At Cassling, Miller held profit-and-loss responsibility across imaging, procedural and clinical workflow solutions and led a commercial organization of more than 40 professionals spanning sales, customer success, revenue operations and solution sales.
“Mark brings a combination of sales leadership, hands-on clinical credibility in our CT cardiology ecosystem, and the repeatable go-to-market agility and discipline we need to scale our commercial momentum upon FDA clearance of our BioIntegrated FFR-CT software,” Huang said.
Huang said the appointment is an important step toward the company’s planned commercial launch.
“Elucid is doing something genuinely rare in this space. It is applying rigorous, histology-validated science to give physicians a clearer picture of cardiovascular risk,” Miller said.
Miller said his experience in CT cardiology has shown him the need for improved tools to support treatment decisions and that he plans to focus on expanding adoption of Elucid’s technology.
