SINGAPORE — Novotech announced the opening of a new office in Tokyo, expanding its clinical research operations in Japan and strengthening support for Japanese biopharma companies pursuing regional and international drug development programs.

The Tokyo office will serve as a hub for Novotech’s growing operations in the country, providing local expertise and supporting collaboration with clients, research institutions, partners and other organizations across Japan’s life sciences sector.

Novotech said it is already supporting clinical studies in Japan and offers sponsors services spanning early-phase clinical development in Australia, FDA-aligned protocol development, U.S.-based scientific expertise and international partnering opportunities.

Japan is one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical markets and has a growing biotechnology sector. Novotech said its expanded presence is intended to help Japanese biopharma companies conduct cross-border clinical trials and pursue development programs across Asia-Pacific, the United States and Europe.

The company provides clinical development services across therapeutic areas including oncology, rare diseases, central nervous system disorders, infectious diseases, immunology and advanced therapies.

“The opening of our Tokyo office is an important milestone for Novotech. Japan is a critical market for global clinical development, and this investment reflects our long-term commitment to building strong local capabilities while delivering high-quality services to our clients,” said Takeshi Mori, Country Head, Japan.

The new office is located in the Shinjuku i-Land Tower in Tokyo.

Novotech said the expansion is part of its broader strategy to strengthen its global presence and support biotechnology companies with clinical development programs across major international markets.
