Boston — WHOOP has appointed Kyle Leahy as Chief Commercial Officer to lead the company’s commercial expansion across retail, wholesale, partnerships, enterprise and healthcare markets.
Leahy will oversee WHOOP’s global wholesale and retail operations, partnerships, enterprise business and healthcare go-to-market strategy as the human performance company expands internationally and through third-party sales channels.
She most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Glossier, where she helped transform the beauty company from a direct-to-consumer business into a global omnichannel brand. Her tenure included Glossier’s launch in Sephora and the company’s return to profitability.
Leahy previously spent nearly a decade at Cole Haan, where she led its $1 billion North American business and helped drive growth across e-commerce, retail and wholesale. She also serves on the board of L.L.Bean.
“WHOOP is scaling rapidly across international markets and new channels,” Founder and Chief Executive Officer Will Ahmed said. “Kyle has a proven track record of leading strong brands through rapid growth. She knows how to expand premium distribution and build the right partnerships without losing what makes a brand special.”
WHOOP said it recently surpassed 3 million members worldwide. International membership has increased more than elevenfold since January 2023, and the company is now available in 56 countries.
The company’s wholesale business grew more than 150% year over year for the third consecutive year, according to WHOOP.
“I’ve spent my career building brands that have a deep emotional and cultural connection with consumers, and WHOOP is one of those rare generational brands,” Leahy said. “My focus is to build on the momentum underway, expand distribution and partnerships, reach more people and accelerate profitable growth across the business.”
Leahy earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
