Eindhoven, Netherlands — Onera Health said its patch-based home polysomnography system, Onera hPSG, has received the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026.

The company said the award recognizes the system’s design, functionality and user-centered engineering. Onera hPSG is designed to bring polysomnography, the gold standard in sleep testing, into the patient’s home through a wearable, patch-based system.
The Red Dot Award is an international design competition that drew entries from more than 60 countries this year. Products were evaluated by a jury of 40 independent experts from about 20 countries, including designers, professors, journalists and consultants.
Onera said its hPSG system was recognized for translating complex sleep diagnostics into an easy-to-use wearable system that supports broader access to home-based sleep testing.
“We are thrilled to receive the Red Dot Award once again, building on the recognition we previously received for our products. This third win is a testament to our team’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of design while delivering a world-class technology that provides the gold standard of sleep testing, polysomnography (PSG), to the patient’s home. This type of recognition inspires us to continue creating products that exceed expectations – bringing PSG home with our Onera hPSG® solution,” said Ruben de Francisco, Founder and CEO of Onera Health.
The Red Dot Design Award for Product Design has recognized product design since 1955. Submissions are assessed based on function, appeal, usability and responsibility, with criteria including innovation, usability and sustainability.
