Insulet Appoints Jonathan Mazelsky to Board of Directors

Acton, Massachusetts — Insulet Corporation has appointed Jonathan “Jay” Mazelsky to its board of directors as an independent director, effective July 1.

Mazelsky currently serves as executive chair of IDEXX Laboratories, a provider of animal health diagnostics and software. He previously served as IDEXX’s president and CEO from October 2019 to May 2026.

Insulet develops the Omnipod tubeless insulin delivery system.

Mazelsky spent 14 years as an executive at IDEXX. Before becoming CEO, he served as interim president and CEO and as executive vice president overseeing the company’s North American companion animal commercial organization and parts of its innovation portfolio. During his tenure as CEO, IDEXX’s revenue and stock price nearly doubled.

Before joining IDEXX, Mazelsky served as senior vice president and general manager of computed tomography, nuclear medicine and radiation therapy planning at Philips Healthcare. He also held several strategic leadership roles at Philips from 2001 to 2010.

Earlier in his career, Mazelsky worked at Agilent Technologies, where he led the integration of its healthcare group into Philips and served as general manager of its medical consumables business. He previously held finance, marketing and business planning roles at Hewlett-Packard.

Mazelsky also serves on the board of Dentsply Sirona. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Rochester.
