BOSTON — VideaHealth announced it has rebranded as Videa and is expanding its dental artificial intelligence platform to serve independent dental practices, broadening access beyond large group networks.

The company said its platform is already used by 90,000 clinicians across North America and is trusted by eight of the region’s 10 largest dental service organizations. The rebrand reflects a renewed focus on simplifying clinical workflows, improving diagnostics, and enhancing patient care across practices of all sizes.

“After years of supporting upper mid-market and enterprise dental groups, we’re excited to bring the capabilities we’ve built to independent practice owners,” said Florian Hillen, founder and CEO of Videa. “We stay close to the challenges practices face every day, anticipating what’s next so we can continue delivering impactful innovation. Our goal is to remove the daily complexity that gets in the way of great care and help teams focus more fully on dentistry.”

The company said the updated platform is designed to streamline daily operations by integrating clinical support, documentation, and administrative functions into a single system. Features include AI-assisted diagnostics, automated charting, real-time performance insights, and tools for insurance verification and claims processing.

According to Videa, the platform can improve case acceptance rates and diagnostic confidence through visual AI findings, while also reducing administrative burden. The company said clinicians can save one to two hours per day through automated documentation, and practices may see fewer insurance claim denials through improved submission processes.

The platform also includes tools such as a daily dashboard for workflow management, analytics for tracking performance trends, and automated eligibility checks for insurance verification.

“With this expansion, Videa is giving practices of every size the support needed to reduce complexity across the day and deliver better care. We’re excited to see practices across the country benefit from a simpler, more connected workflow,” Hillen said.
