Boston — Charles River Associates announced the appointment of Patrick Hillan as Vice President in the firm’s Life Sciences Practice.
Hillan brings experience advising pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on medical affairs strategy, launch readiness and commercial planning across a range of therapeutic areas.

Before joining CRA, Hillan was a partner at a life sciences consulting firm, where he advised pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on medical affairs strategy and launch readiness.
His work included healthcare professional and patient insight generation, strategic and tactical planning, integrated evidence generation planning, and development of scientific platforms and narratives.

Bell said Hillan’s experience will help CRA support medical affairs teams and clients preparing for product launches and managing assets throughout their lifecycles.
Hillan holds a Master of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh.
