Boston — Sware, Inc., a provider of AI-powered validation and GxP compliance technology for life sciences companies, announced the appointment of Mark Hill to its Board of Directors.
Hill brings more than 35 years of information technology and digital leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital & Information Officer at CSL Limited.
Before joining CSL, Hill served as Chief Information Officer at Gilead Sciences and held senior technology leadership roles at Merck and Schering-Plough.
He also served as an Independent Director of software company Puppet through its acquisition by Perforce Software and has advised companies including Tricentis, Zapata Quantum and Iridius.ai. Hill is a U.S. Army veteran.
Sware said Hill’s appointment comes as pharmaceutical and life sciences companies increasingly adopt cloud computing, artificial intelligence and continuous delivery while seeking to modernize validation and regulatory compliance processes.

Sware’s Res_Q platform uses AI to support validation processes for regulated life sciences organizations, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, contract development and manufacturing, and medical device companies.
