Cambridge, Mass. — Zai Lab Limited announced that it will present the first global data from a clinical trial evaluating zocilurtatug pelitecan, or zoci, as a first-line treatment for extensive-stage small cell lung cancer at the European Society for Medical Oncology Congress 2026 in Madrid.
The data will come from a Phase 1b/1c cohort of a global trial evaluating zoci in combination with atezolizumab, with and without carboplatin.
Zoci, formerly known as ZL-1310, is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate designed to target Delta-like ligand 3, or DLL3, a therapeutic target that is overexpressed in small cell lung cancer and generally associated with poor clinical outcomes.
The company said the findings will add to a growing body of evidence supporting zoci as a potential backbone therapy in first-line combination regimens for extensive-stage small cell lung cancer.

The ESMO Congress is scheduled for Oct. 23-27, 2026. Zai Lab also plans to hold an investor conference call and webcast on Oct. 23 to discuss the data and its clinical development plans for zoci.
