ACTON, Mass. — Insulet Corporation reported second-quarter revenue of $801.7 million, up 23.5 percent from a year earlier, driven by strong growth in sales of its Omnipod tubeless insulin pump products.
Revenue increased 22.7 percent on a constant-currency basis, exceeding the company’s guidance range of 20 percent to 22 percent.
Total Omnipod revenue rose 24.6 percent to $795.9 million, or 23.8 percent in constant currency. U.S. Omnipod revenue increased 20.1 percent to $544.1 million, while international revenue climbed 35.5 percent to $251.8 million. International sales grew 32.9 percent in constant currency.
Drug delivery revenue totaled $5.8 million.
Operating income was $129.7 million, representing 16.2 percent of revenue, compared with a margin of 18.7 percent a year earlier. Adjusted operating income increased to $154.5 million, or 19.3 percent of revenue, an improvement of more than 140 basis points.
Net income rose to $95 million, or $1.37 per diluted share, from $22.5 million, or 32 cents per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter.
Adjusted net income increased 37.4 percent to $115 million. Adjusted earnings rose 41.5 percent to $1.66 per diluted share from $1.17 a year earlier.
“We delivered another quarter of broad-based growth, robust margin expansion, and positive free cash flow, reflecting the strength of the Omnipod platform,” President and CEO Ashley McEvoy said.
“While we are updating our outlook to reflect what we’re learning as we scale in type 2, our conviction in the long-term opportunity remains unchanged,” McEvoy added. “We remain focused on converting those insights into action, further strengthening execution and positioning the business for durable, profitable growth.”
During the quarter, Insulet launched Omnipod 5 and its Omnipod Discover platform in Spain. The company now sells Omnipod products in 26 countries, with Omnipod 5 available in 20 markets.
Insulet also introduced a next-generation algorithm intended to improve users’ time in their target blood sugar range and expanded Omnipod 5 compatibility to include Abbott’s FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor.
The company presented research on its Omnipod 6 and fully closed-loop insulin delivery technologies at the American Diabetes Association’s 2026 Scientific Sessions. It also partnered with Calm to provide mindfulness, sleep and stress-management resources to people with diabetes.
For 2026, Insulet now expects total revenue to grow between 20 percent and 22 percent in constant currency, compared with its previous forecast of 21 percent to 23 percent.
The company lowered its forecast for U.S. Omnipod growth to between 17 percent and 19 percent from 20 percent to 22 percent. However, it raised its international Omnipod growth outlook to between 30 percent and 32 percent from 26 percent to 28 percent.
Total Omnipod revenue is now expected to increase between 21 percent and 23 percent, compared with the previous range of 22 percent to 24 percent.
Insulet continues to expect its adjusted operating margin to expand by about 100 basis points and now projects adjusted earnings per share growth of more than 30 percent, up from its previous forecast of more than 25 percent.
For the third quarter, the company expects total revenue growth of between 17.5 percent and 19.5 percent in constant currency.
