Boston– WHOOP announced a new integration with HealthEx that will allow WHOOP members in the United States to securely connect their electronic health records directly within the WHOOP app.

WHOOP said the partnership is designed to provide a more complete view of health by combining medical history with continuous biometric insights, including recovery, strain, sleep and performance data.

HealthEx is a health platform that allows individuals to unify their medical records and securely share them with trusted health applications, AI tools, providers or health plans.

The integration works with WHOOP AI and My Memory, allowing WHOOP to provide more contextual insights and guidance. The company said factors such as chronic conditions, recent procedures or medication changes can be considered alongside recovery, strain, sleep and overall performance to deliver more personalized recommendations.

“WHOOP has always focused on turning data into meaningful insights,” said Alex Vannoni, Head of Healthcare Product at WHOOP. “This partnership extends that approach by bringing medical history into the WHOOP experience, giving members a more complete view of their health and enabling even more personalized, relevant coaching, grounded in who they are, not just what happened on a given day.”

WHOOP said the integration addresses growing consumer demand for more connected health experiences. Many members have tried to combine wearable and clinical information on their own by manually logging conditions or using multiple platforms. The HealthEx partnership is intended to make that process more secure and integrated within the WHOOP app.

“WHOOP members track their health in incredible detail, and that data can be transformative when paired with their full medical record,” said Priyanka Agarwal, M.D., MBA, co-founder and CEO of HealthEx and former associate professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. “Bringing comprehensive health history into the WHOOP experience, alongside daily recovery, strain, and performance metrics, gives members a complete picture of their health. That’s the foundation for personalized, consumer-driven care that puts people in control, meeting them where they are already managing their health.”

The companies said the partnership reflects a broader shift toward connected, personalized health technology, where wearable insights and clinical data can work together to improve understanding, decision-making and long-term health outcomes.

WHOOP said the integration was designed with privacy and user control as core features. Members can choose whether to connect their medical records, see what data is shared and disconnect at any time.
