Burlington, Mass. — The Massachusetts Innovation Network announced the finalists for the 2026 Eddies, its innovation-focused startup program.
Now in its 40th year, The Eddies is the oldest and longest-running innovation-boosting program in the Northeast United States, according to the organization.
Over the next six months, the finalists will participate in a no-equity, no-cost program that includes tailored mentorship, strategy guidance, leadership development and access to curated resources and funding opportunities.
Finalists were selected by a panel of independent judges based on the disruptive potential of their innovations and their ability to drive meaningful impact.
The 2026 finalists are:
Biotech
- 100XBIO: Developing a robot to automate cell-based R&D, particularly in T-cell immunology for oncology and advanced therapies.
- Deco Labs: Working on bio-manufactured medicines, materials and foods by addressing feedstock ingredient supply chain bottlenecks.
- EntoCellular: Developing sustainable, high-value pet nutrition powered by insect cells.
- Sebastian BioPharma: Developing tumor-targeted, multi-pathway therapeutics for colorectal cancer and other immunotherapy-resistant solid tumors.
Clean-/Climate Tech
- Foregger Energy Solution: Making hybridization technology accessible to refrigerated container trucks at any stage of their lifespan.
- Kira: Developing systems integration and control technologies to reduce liquid waste, save money and enable water reuse.
- LNK Energies: Decarbonizing heavy-duty transportation using liquid organic hydrogen carriers as a drop-in, lower-emissions alternative compatible with existing diesel infrastructure.
- Magnesis Robotics: Developing bio-inspired electromagnetic underwater jet propulsion and pumping systems for defense, offshore energy, aquaculture and wastewater operations.
Deeptech & AI
- BLUEiQ: Developing low-power acoustic AI sensors that turn undersea sounds into actionable intelligence for underwater monitoring.
- Nuvio: Building next-generation rollators and walkers designed to improve mobility, independence and safety through smarter, data-driven features.
- TrialV.AI: Developing AI-driven patient coordination for clinical trial recruitment.
Medical Devices
- BioDevek: Developing biocompatible materials for managing gastrointestinal bleeding and shielding high-risk lesions.
- Materialize Bio: Building a 3D manufacturing platform that enables the use of natural biopolymers, including silk, collagen, chitosan and alginate, for medical device innovation.
- RADiCAIT: Using AI to upgrade routine CT scans into PET-like functional imaging.
- SilkMed: Developing silk-derived biomaterials for wound care by reducing infection risk and promoting faster healing through spray-on protection.
Minority/Female Owned
- DoriNano: Developing DNA origami nanoparticle technologies for drug delivery in serious diseases.
- Nervoid: Building an AI-powered cell imaging platform that analyzes images and prioritizes drug development candidates based on morphology.
- The Nest Ally: Offering personalized, concierge-style apartment-hunting services in competitive rental markets.
All finalists are scheduled to present their technologies at The Eddies Showcase on Wednesday, October 14, with the venue to be announced.
