WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — eClinicalWorks said the Neurology Center of New England is using its Sunoh.ai medical scribe to reduce documentation time by two to four hours a day and improve provider work-life balance.

The Westborough-based ambulatory cloud EHR company said Sunoh.ai, which is integrated with the eClinicalWorks electronic health record platform, helps providers complete notes during patient visits while improving patient engagement.

The Neurology Center of New England, the largest neurological care center in Massachusetts, manages more than 2,700 patients each month and treats patients with complex neurological conditions, including multiple sclerosis, migraine, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathy, seizure disorders, epilepsy, dementia and memory disorders.

“I spend more time with patients and less time typing,” said Dr. Maria Bartkus, a neuromuscular specialist at the Neurology Center of New England. “Now there is more eye contact with patients, and I feel less stressed. I complete my notes almost entirely during the encounter. Everything discussed during the encounter is captured, including MRI findings, labs, and medications. I’m no longer bringing work home, which has changed my personal life.”

eClinicalWorks said Sunoh.ai can capture and transcribe patient-provider conversations, including detailed neurological discussions involving MRI reviews, lab results and medication changes. The company said the tool is designed to support documentation accuracy while reducing manual note-taking.

The AI medical scribe also supports multilingual encounters. According to eClinicalWorks, Sunoh.ai can capture conversations in Spanish and automatically generate English documentation without requiring providers to manually switch settings.

“I speak Spanish, and I have Spanish-speaking patients, and Sunoh.ai automatically converts everything into English for my notes,” Bartkus said. “I was very impressed—it recognized everything without me needing to change any settings.”

Before adopting Sunoh.ai, providers at the Neurology Center of New England relied on traditional dictation and manual workflows that often required documentation outside clinical hours. eClinicalWorks said the center has steadily increased use of the tool, with many providers now using it daily.

“Neurology Center of New England’s success demonstrates how AI-integrated solutions can transform practice workflows,” said Girish Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. “Sunoh.ai assists providers nationwide to reduce documentation burden, improve efficiency, and strengthen patient engagement, ultimately enabling better patient outcomes and a higher quality of life.”
