BOSTON — HealthTech Partners Global said it has formed strategic partnerships with TecnoBody and Evolution Devices, expanding its rehabilitation technology portfolio while launching a new service operations headquarters in the Greater Boston area.
The company, which distributes and commercializes rehabilitation and healthcare technologies, entered into an exclusive partnership with Italy-based TecnoBody, a developer of gait, balance, assessment and dynamic body-weight support systems.
HealthTech Partners Global also formed a strategic partnership with San Francisco-based Evolution Devices, which develops functional electrical stimulation technology designed to improve gait and mobility.
The two agreements join the company’s existing exclusive U.S. partnership with Fourier Robotics.
Together, the partnerships give HealthTech Partners Global a portfolio spanning robotic upper- and lower-extremity rehabilitation, gait and balance assessment and training, dynamic body-weight support and functional electrical stimulation technologies.

Through the TecnoBody partnership, HealthTech Partners Global will offer technologies for gait rehabilitation, balance assessment, functional movement analysis and dynamic body-weight support.
TecnoBody’s systems are used in neurological, orthopedic, sports medicine and aging-related rehabilitation. Its Smart Gravity 3D system can unload up to 80% of a patient’s body weight and operates without ceiling fixation.

The Evolution Devices partnership adds functional electrical stimulation technology focused on improving walking performance and gait mechanics.
Evolution Devices’ EvoWalk is an FDA-cleared, multi-channel functional electrical stimulation system for neurological gait rehabilitation. The wearable system delivers timed electrical stimulation during walking and includes analytics designed to track gait progress over time.

HealthTech Partners Global also announced the opening of a Boston-area Service Operations Headquarters that will serve as its primary U.S. center for device inventory management, logistics, technical service, parts storage and customer support.
The facility will support inventory holding, product staging, maintenance, spare parts management and deployment logistics across North America.
The company said it has also completed its exit from the former DIH facility in Norwell, Massachusetts, following the liquidation of assets associated with the organization’s bankruptcy and dissolution.
